Venterans far and wide came together to showcase their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by attending our October all-hands meeting decked out in pink. For some, it required creativity and going deep into the wardrobe to find a pink headband, rhinestone hat, or shirt from their children’s closet.
“Our innovative spirit was on full display,” said Christina Pritchett, Ventera Vice President of Human Capital Management. “Venterans showed up in numbers sporting whatever pink gear they could get their hands on.”
In addition to our awareness efforts, Ventera also made a contribution to the METAvivor fund. METAvivor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. It is the only organization that solely funds MBC research.
“100% of all donations to METAvivor go into MBC-specific research grants to fund work that will improve the longevity and quality of life for metastatic breast cancer patients,” said Julie Balutis, Ventera Program Manager. “Ventera is very proud to support their effort.”
