What happens when engineers, designers, and product managers come together to hack out innovative solutions to complex problems?
On October 16, Ventera joined over 100 technologists at the 2nd GSA Digital Innovation Hackathon. After a rigorous competition, judges handed out the awards, and in the end 7 of the 15 winners were from Ventera.
Ventera was recently named a 2015 CARE (Companies As Responsive Employers) Award winner.
Ventera has been selected as a prime contractor for the 18F Agile Delivery Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the General Services Administration (GSA).
Ventera was selected to develop a mobile-based application for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Incident Management Handbook (IMH) under prime contractor Applied Computing Technologies (ACT) on the EAGLE II contract vehicle.
Ventera was a prize sponsor for the Black & Veatch Hackathon, featuring Bluebeam software, which took place on June 25-26 in Overland Park, KS. It was hosted at the Innovation Center and the IP Café.

Ventera was a sponsor of the second annual Hack.UVA - a 24-hour programming event held February 28th to March 1st. Hack.UVA brought together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to create a mobile/web application from scratch.
In November and December 2014, Ventera participated in The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program. Employees and contractors, either individually or in a group, chose tags representing a child. The tags acted as a Christmas list, providing a few items (clothes, books, games) that each child wanted
