Ventera has achieved the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, recognizing its commitment to providing customers with the highest level of information security management.
ISO standards are recognized throughout many different industries all around the world. The ISO 27001 Information Security Standard is widely recognized as the blue-chip standard for protection of private customer data. It provides third-party verification that the company’s information security management system conforms to a standard that helps protect the integrity of customers’ information assets.
To meet ISO standards, a company must show it has a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information. The standard revolves around a risk assessment-based approach to security; once risks are identified in an initial assessment, controls are selected and implemented to mitigate them.
“In today’s world, with so many industries now reliant upon the internet and digital networks, more and more emphasis is being placed on keeping information security risks under control,” said Ventera CEO Robert Acosta. “Compliance with ISO’s standards demonstrates our team’s unwavering commitment to keeping customer information safe.”
