Ventera employees and their families joined the After-School All-Stars for their spring “un-gala” fundraiser event, celebrating 10 years of ASAS providing free, comprehensive after-school programs designed to assist under-resourced students in the DC area.
It was a lively evening of celebrations at the historic RFK grounds in DC that included local food trucks, live music, and student performances.
“It was an amazingly fun night and I am truly delighted to have attended,” said Ventera Senior Scrum Master Aaron Legier. “The ASAS organization is absolutely fabulous.”
After-School All-Stars is a national non-profit organization that offers programs and transformative opportunities to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and habits needed to succeed in life, school, and their future career.
With the support of the event sponsors and participants, over $58,000 was raised. These funds will be used to set up ASAS for another successful decade providing education, safety, and joy for under-resourced students across the District.
