Ventera has been awarded the Enterprise Shared Services (ESS-II) recompete contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
This is a five-year engagement to continue our work on this program, providing shared services and tools in support of the Application Development Organizations (ADOs) for the Center for Clinical Standards (CCSQ) Health Care Quality Information Systems (HCQIS) ecosystem. Since 2016, Ventera has partnered with CMS to strengthen and modernize the nation’s healthcare system, providing access to high-quality care and improved health at lower costs to Medicare & Medicaid beneficiaries.
ESS provides platform, infrastructure, and software capabilities to enable the CMS CCSQ’s Lines of Business (LOBs) in the secure access, management and optimization of data and information, and business processes related to the center’s goals for measuring clinical quality and leading improvement initiatives. Shared services are designed to be business process-agnostic and can be consumed by more than one LOB. Currently, ESS comprises 280K+ users, covering a wide range of health care related expertise, all working together to serve the agency and its mission, and support over 25 different cloud-based tools within CCSQ.
“We are excited about this opportunity and to position ourselves to grow our presence at CMS and other government health agencies. Ventera appreciates the opportunity to continue to serve our CMS ESS leadership, other CMS stakeholders, and the larger Medicare beneficiary and provider communities for another five years. We take this very seriously and our team will work hard to continue to deliver best program outcomes working collaboratively with the ESS CMS leadership.” said Ventera VP/Lead for Government Health Portfolio Sankar Subramanian.
This is the latest in a series of recent recompete and new contract wins for Ventera in the federal space, including USDA FNS, DHS S&T, USGS, and USDA FPAC. These endeavors position Ventera to deliver exceptional outcomes in the areas of systems development, modernization, and continuous improvement in both our current and new contracts using industry best practices including Agile, HCD, Cloud Enablement, and DevSecOps.
