Infrastructure and Security

Ventera knows that systems need a high performance infrastructure that is secure, highly-available, stable, and scalable in order to operate successfully. For that reason, our dedicated team of infrastructure experts ensures that every application we build has the network and systems infrastructure it needs to perform flawlessly. We are engaged with our clients throughout the system’s life cycle to ensure that every application’s infrastructure, from requirements, architecture, and design to installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance, is built and performs in accordance with Government and industry standards and best practices.

Ventera also actively assesses and implements security in all phases of the software development life cycle. We employ certified security staff with active Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Information System Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) credentials to help secure everything from the network and systems infrastructure to the application’s code, all according to Federal, State, and Local Government standards and/or private industry best practices (as applicable). For new and existing systems, we apply rigorous inspection tools and approaches to review infrastructure and software for vulnerabilities. Discovered vulnerabilities are then remediated to ensure that risk is reduced to accepted levels and all affected systems and associated data are secure.
