Ventera offers benefits that reward our employees and enable them to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We offer the following benefits to all employees:

Health and Wellness

Medical Health Insurance

Ventera covers 100% of the premium cost for employee health & prescription insurance coverage through Cigna’s OAP Plan (similar to a PPO). We cover a significant portion of the premium cost for any dependents under the Plan. All Ventera employees are eligible for coverage upon date of hire.

Dental and Vision Insurance

Ventera pays 100% of the premium cost for employee and dependent Dental and Vision coverage through Guardian. All Ventera employees are eligible for coverage upon date of hire.

Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

Ventera provides short-term and long-term disability insurance through Guardian on the first day of hire with no expense to the individual. Our policy offers short-term disability at 60% of your weekly pre-disability earnings. Up to 65 years of age, long-term disability commences after 90 days of total disability, with scheduled benefits of 60% of your base salary.

Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Ventera provides life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment plans through Guardian on the first day of hire with no expense to the individual. Each plan offers the employee 1 times their annual salary, up to $150,000 per year.

Onsite Fitness Center

There is an onsite fitness center located in our Reston office complex. All Ventera employees have full access to the facility.

Financial Benefits

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

We offer flexible spending accounts for both medical and dependent care through Guardian. The minimum annual requirement is $500 for each FSA option; the maximum annual election is $2550/family for the Medical FSA program and $5000/family for the Dependent Care FSA program.

401(k) Retirement Plan

Ventera employees have the option of investing pretax income in a 401(k) account sponsored by Ventera through Great West Retirement Services. Plan options include a selection of more than 25 mutual funds covering virtually every investing objective and style. Ventera matches 30% of employee contributions up to an annual maximum match of $3,000.

Bonus Plan

Ventera employees are eligible to receive semi-annual bonuses based on Ventera's profitability and individual performance.  

Paid Time Off

Vacation & Holidays

Full-time employees receive a five week combined holiday and vacation package per year. This allows individuals maximum flexibility in planning vacations and the ability to observe the holidays of their choice. Ventera employees receive six weeks of paid time off after four years with the company.

Sick Leave

Ventera grants unlimited sick leave in order to promote a healthy working environment for all employees.

Parental Leave

Ventera grants all parents, biological or adoptive, five days paid leave to be used within the first year a child enters their lives. Individuals that give birth to a child are covered by our short-term disability policy.

Other Leave

Ventera also offers leave for Jury Duty, Bereavement and Military Duty.

Voluntary Benefits

Ventera offers several voluntary benefits including voluntary life insurance, VA 529 Plan, and discounted automobile and home insurance through the Liberty Mutual Group Savings Program.

Laptop and Cellular Phone

We consider our people to be part of a mobile workforce that needs to stay in close contact. Ventera issues every employee a laptop to assist in required on- and off-site versatility and independence. Our cellular phone policy allows each individual to choose a provider of his or her choice. Ventera reimburses the employee a predefined amount for phone usage.

Career Development Program

Full-time employees are aligned with a career development coach upon hire. The coach works with individuals to help align their talents and interest to long term Ventera goals. In addition, we provide tuition reimbursement, training opportunities, and cover professional associations & certification fees.

Instituting a business casual dress code allows our people a comfortable and creative atmosphere. Unrestrictive attire encourages our consultants to work in comfort while maintaining a standard of professionalism in the office and at clients' sites.
